Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Seasonal Field Engineer - Generator Services to oversee generator projects across North America and beyond. You will supervise crews, perform inspections, conduct testing, and communicate with customers at every stage, ensuring safety, quality, and precision in field work.

roles include repairing, installing, or troubleshooting complex generator systems, with responsibilities spanning reporting, coordination, and technical excellence in generator technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in field service or equivalent transferable skills.
• Willingness to travel 200–250 days per year and extended hours.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide field service teams at customer sites during installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing, low and high voltage.
• Coordinate staffing to meet site requirements, timelines, and safety standards.
• Provide detailed reports with conditions, repairs, and recommendations for customer equipment.
• Ensure work follows approved processes and safety and quality standards.
