Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of generator projects. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to client and technical requirements.

The role involves coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams; developing schedules and resource plans; reviewing drawings and specifications; and conducting regular progress meetings at project sites,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in generator, electrical, M&E, construction, or power projects.
• Knowledge of diesel generators, electrical distribution, ATS/AMF, and generator installation.
• Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and specs.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required.
• Local safety certifications or PM qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee generator projects from award through completion and handover.
• Coordinate the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of generator systems.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, manpower requirements, and resource allocation.
• Manage with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review project specifications, drawings, technical requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and overall performance against targets.
• Coordinate site activities and ensure works meet drawings, specs and safety requirements.
• Manage procurement and delivery of generators, switchboards, fuel systems, cabling, control systems, and related equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical, commercial, and site-related issues promptly.
• Conduct regular site meetings and project progress meetings with stakeholders.
