Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is hiring Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. You will diagnose engines and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and travel as needed to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment.
• Own tools required: multi-meter and hand-tools.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid DOT card and driver’s license or ability to obtain.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotating schedule.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1MW).
• Troubleshoot diagnostics, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs and complete/submitting work orders.
• Provide service to residential or industrial generators and communicate with customers.
