Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and test generator systems while providing excellent customer service.

A company vehicle, training, and benefits support your growth in this family-owned business. Qualified applicants will have hands-on experience with engines or electrical systems, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on standby generators (8kW-1MW).
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on generator systems.
• Ability to prepare quotes and complete work orders.
• Previous work on residential or industrial generators.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotating schedule.
• Must provide own tools (multimeter, hand-tools).
• OSHA 10 or ability to attain one; DOT card or ability to attain one; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW–1MW).
• Troubleshoot, test and start up generators; conduct load-bank testing.
• Prepare accurate quotes and submit work orders.
• Engage with customers professionally; document service details.
• On-call rotation participation and coordinating with dispatch.
