Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is hiring Field Service Technicians to service standby generators throughout the Northeast. You’ll work on engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and start-ups on generators (8kW-1MW).

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining standby generator systems (8kW-1MW).
• Experience with engines, electrical systems or heavy equipment.
• Ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must provide your own tools for field work.
• OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and DOT card or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1MW).
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Preparing accurate quotes for repairs and submitting work orders.
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Participation in an on-call, rotating schedule.
