Job summary

Kinsley Group, Inc is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. The ideal candidate has experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment and is comfortable working in automotive, trucking, marine, or construction settings.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing standby generator systems.
• Experience with engines, electrical systems or heavy equipment.
• Own tools required (multimeter, hand-tools).
• OSHA 10 or ability to attain one; DOT card or ability to attain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1MW).
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing and start-ups on generators.
• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs and complete/work orders.
• Previous experience working on residential or industrial generators.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Participate in on-call, rotating schedule.
• Vacation to provide your own tools (multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.).
• Safety-focused with OSHA 10 (or the ability to attain one) and valid driver’s license.
