Actalent in Menlo Park is seeking a Mechanical Technician to build and assemble generator components in a hands-on manufacturing setting. You will follow established procedures, inspect units, and document findings for engineering teams while working with precision tools during a 5:00 PM–1:30 AM shift.

The role collaborates with engineering and production teams to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, using micrometers and gauges to verify tolerances.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience required.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks).
• 5+ years in the industry; 10+ years preferred; troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow assembly procedures for complex assemblies.
• Strong inspection, testing and documentation skills.
