Job summary

Multiquip is seeking an Electrical Assembler I for our San Bernardino, CA facility to support power generator assembly. The role involves wiring, terminating, testing, and installing electrical systems from schematics using hand and power tools.

The position is full-time, on-site with a 5:00am-1:30pm shift and potential overtime. Candidates should have 1–3 years of electrical assembly experience and be committed to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years electrical assembly experience required.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics/drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes (or willingness to be trained).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly and disassembly on generator components and subassemblies.
• Read and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to determine assembly methods.
• Route, assemble, and install wiring and electrical components including boards, blocks, controls, relays and panels.
• Manufacture or modify wiring harnesses to fit specifications; cut wire to length; crimp terminals and lugs.
• Route, twist, solder, and secure wiring according to layout and safety standards.
• Conduct functional and continuity testing using meters and testing instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules; participate in safety briefings.
• Follow safety policies and procedures when handling tools and machinery.
