Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a technically skilled GEO Manager to advance our strategy across traditional search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and emerging AI agents. You will partner with engineering and product teams to drive scalable improvements in search visibility and AI representation.

Reporting to the Director of Search and GEO, the role focuses on technical SEO, AI crawler accessibility, and performance measurement, with a strong emphasis on translating data into actionable

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of GEO/SEO experience in B2B/SaaS/tech environments.
• Strong understanding of GEO concepts and how LLMs reference content.
• Proficiency with Schema markup, JSON-LD, XML sitemaps, and complex site structures.
• Expert use of enterprise SEO analytics tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Conductor, GSC, Screaming Frog, and Adobe Analytics.
• Ability to connect GEO/SEO efforts to pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical audits: crawlability, indexation, JavaScript rendering, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
• Improve accessibility and discoverability for traditional search, AI engines, and autonomous agents.
• Enhance how engines/LLMs understand Palo Alto Networks through structured data and content architecture.
• Use performance data to measure AI visibility, traffic, and conversions.
• Collaborate with eng/IT to diagnose issues and implement scalable GEO improvements.
• Align content architecture with search intent with cross-functional teams.
