Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Technical Field Trainer for AI and Generative AI, a hybrid, high-visibility role delivering hands-on bootcamps and workshops to engineers, architects, executives, and partners across major U.S. metros and international sites.

You will guide developers through API workflows, prompt engineering, and RAG patterns, troubleshoot live sessions, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workshops or bootcamps to professional audiences.
• Familiarity with large language models and AI workflows.
• Ability to read and lightly modify Python or JavaScript code.
• Excellent facilitation and cross-stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with hybrid/onsite training formats.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led bootcamps and workshops to engineers, architects, and executives.
• Guide participants through AI developer workflows using APIs, SDKs, prompts, and labs.
• Troubleshoot live lab issues during sessions and API/tooling challenges.
• Translate AI concepts into business-friendly explanations for diverse audiences.
• Represent OpenAI's technical brand with professionalism at enterprise events.
• Maintain high-quality delivery across regions and audience types.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve training outcomes.
