Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Technical Field Trainer for AI and Generative AI in a hybrid role. You will lead hands-on bootcamps and workshops for engineers, architects, and executives across multiple U.S. metros and internationally.

You will guide real-world AI workflows, work with APIs/SDKs, and translate complex AI topics into business-ready explanations. This role emphasizes premium delivery quality and collaboration with leadership to scale enablement.

Qualifications

• Background in technical training, developer education, or enablement with workshops or bootcamps for professional audiences.
• Working knowledge of large language models and AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI development workflows.
• Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Ability to read and lightly modify sample code in Python or JavaScript during live sessions.
• Exceptional facilitation and communication skills serving both engineers and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led bootcamps, workshops, and live lab sessions to engineers, architects, executives, and sales teams.
• Guide participants through AI developer workflows using APIs, SDKs, and labs with sample code.
• Troubleshoot issues in real-time during live labs and API scenarios.
• Translate AI/LLM concepts into clear business-relevant explanations for varied audiences.
• Represent OpenAI's technical brand with credibility at enterprise and partner organizations.
• Maintain high delivery quality across regions and audience types.
• Collaborate with leadership and regional teams to improve training outcomes.
