Job summary

Idaho Power Company in Oxbow, Oregon, seeks a Generation Technician Apprentice II or Journeyman to join the Power Supply team. You will design, install, maintain, and test plant equipment and control systems, while supporting SCADA, relays, communications, and HVAC assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with electronics training.
• Associate degree or apprenticeship in electronics preferred.
• Formal program or equivalent experience in electronics and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, and test power plant equipment and control systems.
• Maintain communications, SCADA, protective relays, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide technical support and lead electrical installation projects.
