Job summary

OGE Energy Corp. in Oklahoma seeks an I&C Technician I or II to maintain and calibrate power plant control systems. You will troubleshoot instrumentation and safety systems, coordinate daily activities with supervision, and support PLC/DCS and HMI programming as needed.

The role requires experience with instrumentation concepts, AC/DC control circuits, and the ability to work in a multi-craft team, including potential travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
1 year experience in Instrumentation & Controls/Industrial Controls for Level I; 3 years for Level II.
A certificate from a vocational trade institution in Instrumentation & Controls/Industrial Controls.

Responsibilities

Maintains, calibrates and troubleshoots control systems in a power plant.
Performs general maintenance and calibration of instrumentation used in electrical generation.
Schedules daily activities with supervisor and coordinates with other crafts.
Provides troubleshooting and minor programming changes for PLC/DCS and HMI.
Completes calibration and testing reports for documentation.
