Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a senior engineer to own qualification, specification, and integration of fuel-based generation for its AI-scale sites in the United States. You will evaluate prime movers, write performance specs, and oversee commissioning from factory tests to on-site handover.

You will coordinate with hardware and software teams, set standards for plant interfaces, and optimize fuel usage, reliability, and emissions.

Qualifications

• Wrote equipment specifications and acceptance tests that met project needs.
• Owned distributed generation in operation and improved performance metrics.
• Led commissioning and handover of generation fleets in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and qualify fuel-oxidation technologies for data-center power blocks.
• Define interfaces for engines, turbines, or fuel cells to integrate with control systems.
• Determine block capacity, redundancy, and load profiles for reliability and cost.
• Author specs and tests, witness factory/site acceptance, and drive field improvements.
