Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in echocardiography or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient diagnostic imaging facility or hospital experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiac pathophysiology.
• Proficiency with sonography equipment and software (eCW, PACS, Google Suite, MS Office).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient interviews to gather medical history and ensure safety.
• Prepare and calibrate ultrasound equipment and perform QC checks.
• Conduct imaging studies and optimize image quality for diagnostic value.
• Analyze images and measurements for abnormalities and proper annotation.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
• Collaborate with radiologists and document orders in the patient records.
