Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in echocardiography from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient diagnostic imaging facility or hospital experience.
• RDMS certification through ARDMS is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and cardiac pathophysiology.
• Proficiency with sonography equipment and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and ultrasound procedures with high quality patient care.
• Prepare and calibrate ultrasound equipment; perform QC tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists to discuss findings and assist with diagnoses.
• Document procedures, patient information, and image data accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
