Job summary

SGMC Health's Ultrasound Department seeks a part-time ultrasound technologist to perform routine and vascular imaging, assist radiologists, and support biopsy procedures at the Main Campus.

We require ARRT RDMS (or RDMS) certification, vascular certification (RVT/VS/RVS), at least two years of experience, and a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT RDMS or equivalent certification.
• Vascular certification required (RVT/VS/RVS).
• Minimum two years as ultrasound technologist.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and vascular ultrasound imaging.
• Assist radiologist with biopsies or interventional procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain scanning room and supplies.
• Document procedures and ensure quality standards.
• Provide patient-focused imaging services.
