Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and related systems. You’ll troubleshoot, replace components, follow safety procedures, and support emergency maintenance as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in building repairs, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-call shifts and teamwork are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts and be computer proficient.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance items.
• Performs preventative maintenance to keep machines and building systems operating smoothly.
• Maintains safety and uses PPE; reads blueprints and repair manuals to determine work and resources required.
• Operates plant equipment and building automation systems; on-call as needed.
• Trains other technicians and contributes to knowledge sharing.
