Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to provide general maintenance across facilities. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and other building systems, while following safety procedures and company standards.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and availability for on-call service. You will train junior technicians and maintain inventory, tools, and CMMS work orders.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
1–3 years of building repairs and maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance items.
Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly.
Reads blueprints and repair manuals to determine work and needed resources.
Maintains a clean, safe workplace and follows safety procedures.
