Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and training in surgical assistance is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• 2 years of surgical tech experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon under supervision in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• Aid in patient positioning according to surgeon preference and patient limits.
• Assist in incision, exposure, hemostasis, and closure with appropriate energy sources.
• Assist with dressings, splints, and recovery monitoring as directed.
