Job summary

Candidates should have completed a Surgical Technology program and a Surgical First Assist NBSTSA/CSFA program, with BLS certification or ability to obtain it on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
• Graduate of a two year Surgical First Assist program or NBSTSA/CSFA/SA program.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures and anticipate needs to maximize safety.
• Maintain aseptic technique and manage equipment functionality in OR.
• Coordinate with OR RN to ensure safe operative conditions.
