Job summary

Banner Health's Department of Surgery seeks a self-directed Program Manager to orchestrate all facets of the General Surgery Residency Program. You will ensure ACGME accreditation, manage budgets, oversee resident recruitment and evaluations, and liaise between faculty, residents and GME leadership.

You’ll coordinate conferences, maintain electronic evaluation systems, monitor research activities, and represent the program at national meetings. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical education coordination and administrative support in a residency program.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residency/fellowship program operations, including committee activities and compliance with GME and ACGME requirements.
• Serve as administrative liaison with regulatory agencies and maintain policies and procedures.
• Coordinate educational sessions and manage medical records, risk, HR, and occupational health information.
• Collect, assemble, and maintain data for residency databases and assist in budget development and financial monitoring.
• Recruitment support, interview scheduling, and communications with applicants; maintain up-to-date materials and web content.
