Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution on hyperscale data center projects with national travel across the United States. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, lead superintendent teams, manage trade partners, and drive projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of commercial construction experience, proven leadership of large field teams, and deep MEP, commissioning, turnover, and scheduling

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Significant hyperscale data center / mission-critical construction experience.
• Proven experience leading large field teams on major data center projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, turnover, and critical path scheduling.
• Experience managing multiple superintendents and large subcontractor teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects valued in the hundreds of millions or billions.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally.

• Drive accountability across subcontractors and trade partners.
• Oversee complex MEP installation, commissioning, turnover, and phased delivery.
• Lead short-term planning, site logistics, sequencing, and field coordination.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or production.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and operational execution.

This is a national travel role with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day field operations, leading superintendent teams, managing trade partners, and driving projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
