Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution on hyperscale data center projects nationwide. The role oversees day-to-day field operations, directs superintendent teams, manages trade partners, and drives projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

This national travel position requires a deep background in commercial construction, proven leadership of large field teams, strong MEP knowledge, and a track record delivering high-value data center

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Significant hyperscale data center / mission-critical construction experience required.
• Proven experience leading large field teams on major data center projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, turnover, and critical path scheduling.
• Experience managing multiple superintendents and large subcontractor teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects valued in the hundreds of millions or billions.
• Background with a nationally recognized General Contractor preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally.

• Lead short-term planning, site logistics, sequencing, and field coordination
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or production
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and operational execution throughout the project
