Metric DCX is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale hyperscale data center projects across the United States. The role oversees day-to-day field operations, manages field teams, and drives projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with significant hyperscale data center exposure and a proven track record of leading large field teams on major data center projects.

Qualifications

• Oversee MEP installation, commissioning, turnover, and phased delivery.
• Lead short-term planning, site logistics, sequencing, and field coordination.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or production.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and operational execution.

Top 10 ENR National General Contractor looking to identify a General Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale hyperscale data center projects.

This is a national travel role with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day field operations, leading superintendent teams, managing trade partners, and driving projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall field operations on hyperscale data center construction projects
• Manage Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field teams
• Own site execution across safety, schedule, quality, logistics, manpower, and production
• Coordinate closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, MEP leadership, and client teams
• Drive accountability across subcontractors and trade partners
• Oversee complex MEP installation, commissioning, turnover, and phased delivery
• Lead short-term planning, site logistics, sequencing, and field coordination
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or production
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and operational execution throughout the project

Ideal Background:

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience
• Significant hyperscale data center / mission-critical construction experience required
• Proven experience leading large field teams on major data center projects
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, turnover, and critical path scheduling
• Experience managing multiple superintendents and large subcontractor teams
• Experience delivering large-scale projects valued in the hundreds of millions or billions
• Background with a nationally recognized General Contractor preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally
