Pep Boys is hiring General Service Technicians for our Indianapolis, IN area locations as part of the Mavis Tire family. This full-time role offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

You'll perform essential tire and maintenance services, working with experienced automotive professionals to help customers stay safely on the road. Prior automotive experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsabilités

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
