Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring General Service Technicians for our Bloomington, IN centers. This full-time role offers paid training, benefits, and pathways for growth within the automotive service network.

You will perform essential tire services and basic maintenance, working with experienced pros to develop hands-on skills and a career in automotive service. We value safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
