Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will work in various areas of the shop, gaining cross-training on a variety of equipment and manufacturing processes. This hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable manufacturing and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses to form and shape metal parts.
• Work alongside robotic welders and automated production equipment.
• Load and unload materials and finished products.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided).
• Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Read basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Complete machine safety checks and basic equipment maintenance tasks.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.
• Ability to perform general labor and assembly tasks.
• Proficiency in machine operating and general production.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $55000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
