Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a dependable Production Worker to support the safe preparation, staging, and processing of food-grade raw materials using various machinery.

You will work across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, adhere to HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards, and cooperate with a team to keep production on schedule while maintaining clean, sanitary work areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into processing baskets and operate overhead hoists and hydra slicer machinery.
• Safely operate production equipment and perform routine sanitation and washdowns to keep areas clean and sanitary.
• Maintain accurate daily production logs and follow HACCP training with SQF and GMP principles.
• Wear and manage PPE (earplugs, boots, safety glasses, face shields, aprons) and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.

General Production Pay: $18-$19/hour Location: Norfolk, NE Shift: Various Shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

Job Summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, staging, and processing food-grade raw materials using various machinery and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Raw Material Handling: Load large volumes of raw product into designated processing baskets, operate overhead hoists, and assist in batching product using hydra slicer machinery.
• Equipment Operations & Maintenance: Safely operate production equipment and perform routine sanitation and washdowns to keep work areas neat, clean, and sanitary.
• Quality & Food Safety Compliance: Maintain accurate daily production logs, complete internal HACCP training, and follow all SQF and GMP principles. Immediately report any food safety or quality issues to management.
• Safety First: Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as earplugs, rubber boots, safety glasses, face shields, and aprons. Follow proper Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain continuous hazard awareness.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• Lifting & Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the shift. Must be able to lift and move heavy materials (frequently up to 50 lbs)
• Work Environment: Comfortable working in wet, humid, or temperature-variable indoor manufacturing environments around moving mechanical parts.
• Experience & Skills: Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, basic measurements), ability to read and follow simple written and verbal instructions, and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
