Aventure Staffing is hiring a Food Production Operator in Norfolk, NE, with a shift from 6:30am to 4pm. The role focuses on grinding, mixing, stuffing, cooking, packaging, and preparing premium protein products while upholding strict food safety and quality standards.

You will operate grinders, mixers, smokehouses, slicers, and packaging equipment, and support labeling, boxing, and palletizing for shipment. The job requires standing in a refrigerated environment and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to operate production machinery.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or food production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinders, mixers, vacuum stuffers, smokehouses, slicers, and packaging equipment safely.
• Package products with vacuum packaging and assist with labeling, boxing and palletizing.
• Maintain food safety standards (USDA/HACCP/GMP) and complete production logs.

Food Production Operator – Norfolk, NE – Shift: 6:30am – 4pm – Pay: $19+DOE

Job Summary

The Food Production Operator plays a critical role in producing high-quality, ready-to-eat meat products within a processing facility. You will grind, mix, stuff, cook, package, and prepare premium protein products while strictly maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment & Production Operations: Operate grinders, mixers, vacuum stuffers, smokehouses, slicers, and packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Load, monitor, operate, and unload smokehouse. Perform equipment setup, routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Packaging & Logistics: Package ready-to-eat products using vacuum packaging and other approved packaging systems. Assist with labeling, boxing, palletizing, and staging finished goods for shipment.
• Quality, Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to USDA, HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and internal company food safety standards. Monitor product quality throughout processing and immediately elevate any deviations or issues. Accurately complete all required production logs and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• Lifting: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Stamina: Able to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Environment: Comfortable working in refrigerated processing environment.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and learn specialized production machinery.
• Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing or food production preferred.
