Aerotek is seeking a General Production Worker (Finisher) in Menasha, WI. You will perform hands-on duties in a plastics extrusion setting, support the extrusion operator, manage scrap, and stack finished goods at the line end.

Forklift operation is possible for part of each shift, with emphasis on accuracy in inventory and data entry. Responsibilities include quality checks throughout production, maintaining logs, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general labor tasks in a production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to assist with machine operation and follow directions from an extruder or machine operator.
• Basic knowledge of quality assurance practices, including performing routine quality checks.
• Capability to safely operate a forklift or willingness to learn forklift operation as required.
• Strong attention to detail when stacking, labeling, and organizing finished products.
• Ability to perform accurate inventory control and data entry for completed bundles.
• Skill in correctly filling out physical scale logs and scrap logs.
• Competence in entering data into virtual scale logs or similar computer-based systems.

The General Production Worker, referred to as a "finisher," performs a variety of hands-on tasks in a plastics extrusion environment and develops the skills needed to become a machine operator. This role focuses on quality control, supporting the extruder operator, handling scrap material, and stacking finished products at the end of the production line. Work Environment

The role is based in a large warehouse facility that can be cooler in the winter months. Team members typically wear long-sleeve shirts and jeans in colder weather, and steel-toe footwear is not required. You work around plastics extrusion equipment, production lines, and forklifts in an active manufacturing setting, performing manual tasks and data entry throughout your shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
