Aerotek is seeking a General Utility Worker in Pleasant Prairie, WI to support a high-volume meat processing facility. You will rotate through sanitation/pack-off, packing, palletizing, and box making to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient production line.
Requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read/write/speak English for GMP compliance, and willingness to work 50+ hours on a 2nd shift (3:45 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.).
This role supports a high-volume food production facility by rotating through key areas, including sanitation/pack-off, packing, palletizing, and box making. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient production line while handling materials, organizing packaging, and supporting the overall flow of operations.

At 6 months, you can qualify to advance to an operator role with an associated pay increase, and after 1 year, you may progress to higher levels. All employees receive a 2.5% annual increase every January 1st. This position operates on 2nd shift, typically from 3:45 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with most Saturdays required. Employees generally work more than 50 hours per week but are limited to 60 hours, and any hours worked over 8 in a shift are paid as overtime. The role is based in a GMP food production environment focused on meat processing, similar to sausage patty production. The entire production floor is refrigerated, with temperatures maintained between 30–40 degrees, requiring comfort working in a cold setting for extended periods. Employees wear an overcoat, gloves, hardhat, ear plugs, safety glasses, and knee-high non-slip rubber boots to ensure safety and compliance with food production standards.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
