Tyson Foods is hiring for an entry-level general labor position on 1st shift in the United States (Texas). The role involves performing non-skilled labor while maintaining a safe environment and following Tyson policies.

The job may involve work in various Fresh Processing areas including DSI, Debone, Deli, and Evisceration, with physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing 8–10 hours per day. A drug screen is required.

Job Details:

• Work Shift: 1st Shift
• Pay: $17.30/hr.
• Hours - 6:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

JOB DETAILS:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing to include the DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration.

SUMMARY:

• Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
• Be able to stand 8 - 10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Able to perform repetitive motion.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
• Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
• Must pass drug screen.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Rehire Consideration:

180 days (6 months) waiting period.
