Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead hourly team members, manage daily workloads, and ensure superior guest experiences while maintaining merchandising, pricing, and stock integrity.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, flexibility, and leadership potential. The role includes training responsibilities, a focus on safety and process improvements, and opportunities for advancement within Target’s store leadership team.

Qualifications

Experience delivering guest experiences in a retail setting.
Ability to lead hourly team members and coordinate daily tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver consistent guest experience commitments and maintain service standards.
Train and coach team members to uphold Target's guest experience values.
Monitor operations, inventory, and merchandising to ensure product availability.
Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store goals under direction.
Educate team on procedures affecting inventory, pricing and stock levels.
Support store routines and safety policies to maintain a compliant workplace.
