Job summary

Meijer in Indiana is seeking a dedicated store leader to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor staff, implement customer-service strategies and maintain store standards to drive sales and ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will manage staffing and hiring, support succession planning, handle disciplinary actions, and oversee P&L performance while keeping shrink in check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of management experience required.
• Retail environment experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction to a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations across departments.
• Mentor and coach team members to ensure customer service and sales goals are met.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and identify development needs for the team.
• Disciplinary actions and promotion decisions when appropriate.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink targets.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Ensure staff are trained and adhere to company standards.
