• Knowledge of general merchandise operating principles.

Responsibilities

• Present product to achieve maximum sales and follow stock rotation.
• Ensure department is ready for business and always in stock.
• Meet daily operating disciplines and targets.
• Manage financial targets, merchandising, promotions, and inventory.
• Plan seasonal and promotional merchandising for sales and profits.
• Coordinate advertising campaigns and pricing per guidelines.
• Ensure product quality through proper ordering and handling.
• Monitor gross profit and address variances.
