Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert to help create an inviting guest experience, assist customers, and maintain product availability on the sales floor and backroom. You will support daily store operations, restocking, pricing, and signage while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible with hours (nights, weekends, holidays), and communicate using handheld scanners and multiple devices. Training is provided.

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at various zones and assist in locating products.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Perform daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, backroom organization, pricing, and signage for GM areas.
