Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to support guest service, merchandising and store operations. This role focuses on delivering a friendly guest experience, restocking, and assisting team members to meet sales goals.

You will greet guests, help locate items, resolve issues, and maintain accurate stock levels. Candidates should be flexible with shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests warmly and initiate friendly interactions at 10ft and 4ft.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team and assist peers when needed.
• Restock shelves, organize backroom and set up merchandise.
