Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help guests enjoy a seamless shopping experience. You will greet customers, locate items, restock shelves, manage backroom organization, and support digital fulfillment and cashier tasks as needed.

The role requires a friendly, proactive team player who can handle fast-paced store environments, with flexibility for varying hours, including nights and weekends. Training is provided to learn store procedures.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at 10ft and 4ft ranges, help guests find what they need, and thank them at checkout.
• Assist with backroom organization, stock products, set up merchandise, and maintain pricing and signs for GM areas.
• Support guest services including back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes while following safety and policy guidelines.
