Job summary

Target is looking for a General Merchandise Expert to help guests and keep our store experience inviting and efficient. You’ll support replenishment, pricing, signing, and the sales floor, while ensuring product is easy to find and well stocked.

Daily tasks include guest service, executing workloads to meet sales goals, and collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. A flexible schedule is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Guest service fundamentals and guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
