Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help guests enjoy a friendly, efficient shopping experience in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist guests, stock shelves, manage backroom organization, and support pricing and signage activities to ensure product availability and accurate presentation for customers. Training is provided, and teamwork and safety procedures are prioritized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at 10ft and 4ft, help guests find what they need, and end every transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, and maintaining pricing and signage in GM areas.
