Job summary

Target is looking for a General Merchandise Expert to help create a welcoming guest experience and ensure products are available and easy to shop. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, restock shelves, and support store operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires flexibility in hours, ability to lift merchandise, and teamwork with fellow team members to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, merchandising, pricing, and signage.
