Stater Bros. Markets in Riverside, CA is seeking a General Merchandise Clerk (GMC) to provide G.O.A.T. service to customers and support store operations.

This role includes front-end tasks, stocking shelves, organizing displays, fulfilling e-commerce orders, and assisting with floral and fruit preparation. The GMC may rotate across Grocery, Ecommerce, Produce, and Floral, performing duties with safety and teamwork in mind.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma is preferred but not required
• A valid Food Handler / Health Card
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Basic math and reading skills for handling pricing and inventory
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel for up to 4–8 hours/day and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Adherence to store policies and safety standards including the collective bargaining agreement

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T)
• Assist with customer questions, locating products, recommendations, and communicating out-of-stock issues to store management
• Bag groceries carefully and efficiently, assist customers with loading groceries to vehicles
• Ensure carts are gathered and organized at store entrances
• Stock and refill shelves, displays, and end caps
• Follow CAO bread procedures for bread orders
• Build GMC displays following planograms and seasonal guidelines
• Maintain backroom cleanliness and organize inventory
• Ensure signage and pricing is visible and accurate, including price changes
• Keep aisles and displays clean and safe
