Stater Bros. Markets, Inc. in California is seeking a General Merchandise Clerk (GMC) to deliver G.O.A.T. service to customers, assist with front-end bagging, cart retrieval, and checkout flow, and support multiple store areas as needed throughout the day.

This role includes stocking shelves, building displays, fulfilling ecommerce orders, and assisting with floral and produce tasks while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized store environment for a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Friendly, helpful attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication.
• Basic math and reading skills for pricing and inventory.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T).
• Assist with customer questions, locating products, product recommendations, and communicating out-of-stock issues or concerns to store management.
• Bag groceries carefully and efficiently, assist with loading groceries to customers’ vehicles.
• Ensure shopping carts are gathered and organized at store entrances for customer use.
• Stock shelves, open boxes, and maintain displays per planograms and seasonal guidelines.
• Process ecommerce orders, inspect items, pack properly, and assist with pickup or substitutions.
