GFL is seeking a proven General Manager to lead our local facility, accountable for safety, service delivery, and P&L. You will set strategy for the management team and drive performance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced waste and environmental services operation.

This role oversees budgets, equipment utilization, routes, and market growth, with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership in waste management or similar high-volume environment.
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations OSHA/DOT and environmental compliance.
• Proven P&L management and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate facility managers, sales leadership, admin and maintenance teams.
• Drive Safety First culture with accident prevention and safety rewards.
• Oversee routes optimization, maintenance programs, and equipment utilization for efficiency.
• Lead bi-weekly payroll, POs, billing, and profitability analyses.
• Partner with sales to identify growth opportunities and expand contracts.
