Job summary

Manulife Forest Management (MFM) seeks a General Manager, Value-Added Services to develop strategic direction and oversee non-timber revenue activities on client assets across NA. Responsibilities include monetizing carbon, surface/subsurface leases, and renewable energy opportunities, with a focus on fiduciary duties and environmental stewardship.

The role reports to the President of MFM and can be office-based or remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental field or equivalent experience.
• Graduate degree in environmental discipline or business management desirable.
• Ten years in environmental project management.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead non-timber revenue initiatives for client assets.
• Oversee teams and ensure fiduciary and environmental stewardship.
• Develop recreation and revenue strategies across NA.
• Oversee compliance with SFI and FSC standards.
