Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a General Manager for an upscale, high-volume waterfront restaurant in Boston's Seaport. Lead front-of-house operations, develop a talented team, and drive guest experiences in a chef-driven environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of senior restaurant leadership, exceptional people skills, and strong financial acumen. This role offers growth opportunities as the operation expands to new openings in Boston and Nantucket.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and ability to coach, motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Knowledge of restaurant financials, labor management, scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and performance reporting.
• A genuine passion for guest service, elevated food and beverage experiences, high-touch clientele, and creating an energetic dining room.
• Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who makes sound decisions, adapts under pressure, communicates effectively, and follows through.

Responsabilités

• Lead Daily Operations: Maintain a strong floor presence, oversee service execution, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Develop & Manage the Team: Lead front-of-house managers and department leaders while overseeing hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and team culture.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Manage staffing, scheduling, reservations, service standards, operating procedures, and coordination with culinary/beverage teams.
• Manage Financial Performance: Support budgeting, financial reporting, inventory analysis, labor controls, and profitability initiatives.
• Own the Guest & Employee Experience: Maintain facility/presentation standards, support events, resolve challenges, and pursue continuous improvement.
