Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, drive a guest‑centric experience, and develop a high‑performing team. You will oversee everything from hiring and training to P&L and daily operations, upholding Border Foods’ core values of accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork and empowerment.

You will manage labor, ensure food quality and safety, and foster a welcoming culture while guiding the restaurant to profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• Exempt management position; minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Provide customers with a great food and friendly experience.
• Lead hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Ensure safety, health, and compliance with policies and laws.
