Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking a General Manager in Duluth, MN to oversee restaurant operations, lead a high-performing team, and uphold Border Foods’ core values of Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage P&L, recruit and train staff, and ensure safe, quality service in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and a proven hiring record are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• Exempt management position expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• ServeSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong, capable team.
• Lead along Border Foods’ core values: Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, Empowerment.
• Ensure customers receive great food and a friendly experience.
• Drive profit through P&L awareness, labor control, and inventory management.
• Provide guidance and development opportunities for team members.
