Qualifications

Role Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, profitability, and success of the restaurant, rooftop bar & lounge, and private events operation. Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, this position will lead all aspects of operations, guest satisfaction, team development, revenue growth, and financial performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop managers and hourly team members.
• Create a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.
• Partner with culinary leadership to maintain food quality and service standards.
• Oversee rooftop operations, entertainment programming, reservations, and special events.
• Manage guest feedback, online reviews, and service recovery efforts.
• Drive revenue through creative programming, promotions, and local partnerships.
• Own and manage the outlet P&L, including labor, food, beverage, and operating costs.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and action plans to achieve financial goals.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar leadership role.
• 5+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience.
• Proven success managing financial performance, budgets, and P&L responsibilities.
• Experience leading high-volume restaurant, rooftop, nightlife, or hotel food & beverage operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Working knowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, inventory controls, and Microsoft Office.
• Hospitality degree preferred but not required.
